My next area of interest was with the old Packard Plant on East Grand Blvd. So, I jogged over to East Grand Blvd and made my way to another house I shot during the last series - just south of Frontenac I believe.

It wasn’t so surprising that it was still standing, but it certainly was that it looked as if it hadn’t aged or deteriorated since November 15, 2004. It was this house, a majestic stucco hulk of non-Midwestern design that brought my attention to the Packard Plant back then. The surrounding area remains the same as well; empty land with mounds of trash.
